My First Skin Pharm Visit. Free Consult, 3 Products, and I'm Going Back.
Y'all, I have been wanting to try Skin Pharm for over 2 years now. If you are in the Dallas area, you have probably seen their locations popping up. They offer a free consultation, and I finally went. I walked in not knowing what to expect and walked out with 3 products and honestly a whole new perspective on my skin.
Here is my full breakdown of the experience.
Booking Was Easy
I made the appointment online. No pressure to call, no phone tag, no waiting on hold. Just picked my time and booked it. If you are someone who hates making phone calls, this is for you.
Meeting Alyson Deville Graham
The Plano location is stunning. From the building to the office, everything is beautiful. And the ladies at the front were the most welcoming people. You feel comfortable the second you walk in. Even the bathroom where you wash your face is so nice. They even had a dry shampoo in there for your hair. Every detail in that place is thought out.
I booked with Alyson Deville Graham (@alysongraham_np), an aesthetic nurse practitioner at the Plano location. They walked me right to the back, and she came in in under 5 minutes. Just enough time for me to start recording for y'all.
Let me tell you. She is the sweetest human I have met in Plano, Texas. And can we talk about her skin? Y'all, I am sold. When your provider's skin looks that good, you know you are in the right place.
We went over what treatments I should do and what products would actually work for me. She was not reading off a script or pushing the most expensive option. She looked at my skin, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a real plan. She even called in a prescription for me. That is next level.
The 3 Products I Left With
Based on my consultation, she recommended 3 products to start with. Not ten. Not a whole shelf. Three. I appreciated that. I bought all 3 and applied them in the car before I even left the parking lot. That is how excited I was.
Update: It has been 5 days and I am in love with these products. My skin looks different. Like noticeably different. I keep looking in the mirror wondering how this is even possible after less than a week. No more dry, flaky skin. I did not expect results this fast. Y'all, this is a steal. I am a believer.
Skin Pharm Youth Serum
This is an anti-aging peptide serum that plumps, firms, and smooths. It has multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid that instantly plumps your skin, a bioactive peptide that fights blemishes and redness, plus honey extract and allantoin to soothe sensitive skin. Clinically proven to increase brightness and hydration. You use half a dropper and massage it into your face, neck, and chest with upward strokes. I noticed a difference in how hydrated my skin felt the same day.
Shop at Skin PharmSkin Pharm High Beam Brightening Lotion
A lightweight moisturizer that brightens and smooths. This is the one that got me. It has anti-aging peptides that smooth, firm, and tighten the skin, plus a brightening blend that targets dark spots and evens out skin tone. It works for morning and nighttime routines. Ideal for all skin types, especially if you deal with oily or aging skin. It goes on light and does not feel heavy at all.
Shop at Skin PharmSkin Pharm 100% Mineral Tinted SPF
A physical sunscreen that doubles as foundation. This is the product that sold me on the whole brand. Zinc oxide, titanium oxide, iron oxides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E. It gives you coverage while actually protecting your skin. Apply it as the last step in your routine and wait 30 minutes before sun exposure. In Texas, SPF is not optional. This one makes it easy because it looks good too.
Shop at Skin PharmWhat I'm Going Back For
She recommended PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) for my next treatment and I am going to book it soon. I am not going to lie, I am excited. PRP uses your own blood to stimulate collagen and rejuvenate your skin. It is the kind of treatment that works best when your skin is already on a good routine, which is why she wanted me to start with the products first.
I will share the full PRP experience when I go. Including what it felt like, the results, and whether I think it is worth the price. Stay tuned for that post.
My Honest Take
Here is what surprised me most about Skin Pharm. It did not feel like a medspa trying to upsell me. It felt like someone who genuinely knew skin actually looking at mine and telling me the truth.
- The consult is truly free. No strings attached. If you are curious about your skin, just go.
- They did not overwhelm me. Three products. That is it. Start here, see how your skin responds, then we will talk about treatments.
- The vibe was clean and welcoming. Not intimidating. Not overly clinical. Just comfortable.
- They know their stuff. The esthetician explained the "why" behind everything she recommended. I felt educated, not sold to.
If you have been on the fence about going, this is your sign. Book the free consult. You do not have to buy anything. But you will learn something about your skin that you probably did not know.
Who Should Go
Honestly? Anyone who wants to take their skincare past drugstore guessing. Specifically:
- If you have been using the same products for years and your skin is not improving
- If you do not know your skin type and have been guessing
- If you are curious about treatments but do not know where to start
- If you just want someone knowledgeable to look at your skin and give you a real plan
