I Found My Nail Girl. YA Nails Studio in McKinney Just Changed Everything.
Y'all, I am picky about my nails. I have never gone to a nail salon in the DFW area until now. Then I found YA Nails Studio — the first Ukrainian nail studio in Texas — and I have not looked back since.
I first visited the original location in Plano back in January. The owner, Nastiia, did my nails herself and I knew immediately this was different. The precision, the technique, the attention to detail. I had never had a dry manicure like that before. Fast forward to May and she just opened a brand new, bigger location in McKinney. This time Anastasiia, one of her new techs, did my nails and she was amazing. Same level of quality, same attention to detail. I waited a full week to see if they would hold up. They did. Not a single chip. That is when I went back and booked 3 more appointments. That is how good it is.

InstagramWhat Makes YA Nails Different
YA Nails Studio specializes in the Ukrainian dry manicure technique. If you have never heard of it, here is why it matters. Instead of soaking your nails in water like a traditional manicure, they use an e-file and specialized tools to do precision cuticle work on dry nails. The result is cleaner, lasts longer, and looks so much more polished. Once you have it done this way, you cannot go back to a regular manicure.
They also use premium gel products and focus on natural nail health. Anastasiia is not just slapping polish on your nails. She is looking at the condition of your nails, shaping them properly, and making sure everything is done right. You can feel the difference.
The New McKinney Location
Anastasiia originally started in a smaller space in Plano on Windhaven Parkway. That location had the same amazing quality but it was a cozy spot. The new McKinney location is a whole different level. It is a huge salon with tons of nail techs, and the space is stunning. Everything is pink. The whole vibe is feminine, soft, and luxurious. It feels clean and put-together the second you walk in. And there is tons of parking, which if you know North Texas, you know that matters.
The tagline says it all: where beauty feels feminine, soft, and luxurious. That is exactly what it feels like inside. Not rushed. Not chaotic. Just a beautiful space where you actually want to sit and enjoy the experience.
The fact that she grew from a small studio to this in such a short time tells you everything you need to know about how good she is. People keep coming back.
About Nastiia
Nastiia (Anastasiia Yermakova) is the owner and creator of YA Studio. The name "YA" comes from her initials — Yermakova Anastasiia. But in Ukrainian, "ya" also means "I." For her, YA Studio is about choosing yourself. Self-care, confidence, beauty, and taking time for you. She created it as a space where every girl can feel comfortable, cared for, and truly herself.
And you can feel that the moment you sit down. Whether Nastiia does your nails herself or one of her techs like Anastasiia, the quality is approachable and consistent. She trains her girls well. No rushing. Precision on every nail. Genuine care about the health of your nails. You can tell this is not just a business for her. This is her craft. When the owner of a nail salon has nails that look that perfect, you know you are in the right place.
She brought Ukrainian dry manicure and smart pedicure techniques to North Texas — the first studio of its kind in the state. We are lucky to have her here.
My Honest Take
- The technique is next level. Ukrainian dry manicure is a game changer. My nails have never looked this clean or lasted this long.
- The new space is gorgeous. Clean, calm, and comfortable. Not chaotic or overwhelming like some salons.
- Anastasiia is the real deal. She is skilled, attentive, and genuinely passionate about nail care.
- I booked 3 more appointments. That should tell you everything. I do not do that unless I am completely sold.
- Worth the drive. Even when I was going to the Plano location, it was worth it. Now that she is in McKinney, it is even closer for those of us in North Texas.
